How we handle your information
This notice explains what happens to the information you share through bluemonadel.com. It describes what the website actually does today. Where a decision is still to be made, we say so rather than promise something we have not implemented.
1. Who we are
Blue Monadel International Ltd ("Blue Monadel", "we") operates this website. For any question about this notice or your information, write to info@bluemonadel.com (secondary address: monadelgroup@gmail.com).
2. What we collect
We only collect what you choose to give us through the enquiry form on the website or a procurement brief in ARIEL:
- Your name and, if you provide it, your company or organisation.
- Your business email address.
- Optional contact and context details: phone or preferred contact, country, desired timeline.
- The service you are enquiring about, your description of the requirement, and any service-specific answers you add.
We do not ask for and do not want sensitive personal information (for example, health, financial account or identity-document details) through this form.
3. Why we collect it
We use your information for one purpose: to receive, review and respond to your enquiry and to take the next commercial step you have asked us to consider. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not sell it.
You give us the information by submitting the form. If you would rather not submit through the website, you can email us directly at info@bluemonadel.com.
4. How it is stored and protected
When the website's enquiry system is online, submissions are transmitted over HTTPS and stored as append-only record files (JSON Lines) in a private folder on our hosting provider's server, outside the folder that serves the public website, so they cannot be opened through a web address. There is no separate database. The files can be read only by people who have access to our hosting account, which requires the hosting provider's own login. The website itself does not contain database credentials.
When an enquiry or procurement brief is received, a notification containing its details is emailed to info@bluemonadel.com, with a copy to our additional company address, monadelgroup@gmail.com. To limit abuse, the system also keeps short-lived counters of how many submissions and failed brief look-ups have happened (timestamps only: no names, email addresses or IP addresses). The enquiry and brief records themselves do not store your IP address or browser details.
If the enquiry system is not available, the form prepares an email in your own email application. In that case, nothing reaches us until you send that email from your own email account.
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. We cannot promise absolute security.
5. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for as long as they are needed to handle the matter and for a reasonable follow-up period afterwards, after which they are removed. If you ask us to delete your enquiry sooner, we will do so unless we are required to retain it.
A formal retention schedule has not yet been set. We will publish one here once it is adopted. In the meantime we operate on the basis described above.
6. Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. Enquiries are handled by Blue Monadel personnel. We rely on service providers who process information on our behalf to run the website and its email:
- Our web hosting provider (hosting and record-file storage).
- Our email service, used to notify us that an enquiry has arrived and to reply to you.
If progressing your enquiry requires involving a supplier, manufacturer or logistics partner, we will tell you and share only what is necessary. We do not share your details with unrelated third parties for their own marketing.
7. Where your information is held
Our hosting and email providers may store or process data on servers located outside Ghana. Because the hosting and email arrangements are still being finalised, we are reviewing exactly where data will be processed before launch.
We are not currently able to state a specific data-residency guarantee. This notice will be updated when the providers are confirmed.
8. Cookies and tracking
We do not set advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not track you across other websites. The only cookie the site may set is a temporary, HttpOnly session cookie used to protect the enquiry and procurement-brief forms against cross-site request forgery and to limit repeated submissions; it contains no marketing identifier and expires when your browser session ends.
Like any website, our hosting provider's web server may automatically keep standard access logs (for example IP address, time, page requested and browser type) in order to operate and secure the service. We do not copy these details into enquiry records and do not use them for marketing. How long the hosting provider keeps them is set by the provider and has not yet been confirmed by us.
Fonts: this website uses only typefaces hosted on this domain. No text on this site is loaded from a third-party font provider, and no font request leaves this domain.
9. ARIEL guided assistant
Our guided assistant ARIEL (bluemonadel.com/ariel.html) works from published company knowledge. Voice input uses your browser's built-in speech-recognition service, which may send audio to the browser vendor for transcription; recording starts only when you press the microphone, and the resulting text is handled as your message. Files you attach are read on your own device and never uploaded, except for the file names and summaries you explicitly approve inside a procurement brief. Procurement briefs you submit are stored on our hosting server like enquiries (see §4–§7) and released only to the email address given at submission. ARIEL keeps anonymous counts of feature use (for example, briefs submitted) in your own browser; message contents are not logged for analytics.
10. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to:
- Confirm what information we hold about you.
- Correct information that is inaccurate.
- Delete your enquiry information.
- Stop using your information, where we are not required to keep it.
Contact info@bluemonadel.com and we will respond. You may also complain to the relevant data-protection authority in your jurisdiction.
11. Legal review — honest status
Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) and guidance from the Data Protection Commission are being reviewed as part of our preparations. We are not claiming registration with, or full compliance with, any data-protection framework until that status is verified. This notice will be updated, and a qualified professional consulted, before we make any such claim.
12. Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and its date. Please check back if you would like to see the current version.
